With the OnePlus 10T, the OnePlus T series makes a reappearance. The 10T has been the subject of several rumors, but OnePlus is now ready to unveil the device in its entirety at a launch event in New York. The presentation is slated on August 3, then we may finally expect confirmation of the smartphone’s exact specifications. While we do know a few things, there are still many mysteries surrounding the gadget.
OnePlus has confirmed that 10T will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Plus Generation 1 CPU. That’s a good step forward for Qualcomm’s newest processor, however it will be surpassed later this year as the anticipated Gen 2 is announced.
However, it positions the OnePlus 10T as speediest flagship.
According to rumors, the OnePlus 10T will include triple – camera optics: a 50-megapixel primary sensor, a 8mp ultra – wide lens, as well as a 2MP macro lens. The 6.7-inch display is said to have a variable refresh rate of up to 120Hz. With reports about 150-watt super fast charging, the 10T might be one of the greatest smartphones available in the second half of 2022.
Fortunately, the OnePlus 10T not only comes with amazing specifications, but also with a significant OS upgrade. Also set to be announced on August 3rd
Along with the 10T, OnePlus will release OxygenOS 13. The latest OS upgrade will be the most configurable version of the software ever, while still delivering the features that OnePlus customers have grown to expect from their smartphones.
If OxygenOS 13 can compete with Google’s ‘regular’ Android 13 version and iOS 16, the OnePlus 10T might be a huge success. However, there are still too many unanswered issues regarding this smartphone to be confident. Fortunately, answers will be forthcoming soon.
